"The Raven" from Karliene
Oh raven,
an omen you warn,
you've circled my head,
from the day I was born.
Oh raven,
there's blood in your eyes,
oh what have you seen?
what will happen to me?
Oh raven,
you shadow my soul,
forewarning a storm,
so cruel and so cold.
Oh raven,
do lend me your eyes,
and show me my fate
so I may survive.
Oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven, raven
Oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven, raven
Oh raven,
there's blood in your eyes,
oh what have you seen?
what will happen to me?
Oh raven,
you shadow my soul,
forewarning a storm,
so cruel and so cold
Oh raven,
do lend me your eyes,
and show me my fate
so I may survive.
an omen you warn,
you've circled my head,
from the day I was born.
Oh raven,
there's blood in your eyes,
oh what have you seen?
what will happen to me?
Oh raven,
you shadow my soul,
forewarning a storm,
so cruel and so cold.
Oh raven,
do lend me your eyes,
and show me my fate
so I may survive.
Oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven, raven
Oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven,
oh, oh raven, raven
Oh raven,
there's blood in your eyes,
oh what have you seen?
what will happen to me?
Oh raven,
you shadow my soul,
forewarning a storm,
so cruel and so cold
Oh raven,
do lend me your eyes,
and show me my fate
so I may survive.
"Elizabeth's Lullaby" from Karliene
Eyes sapphire blue,
pale skin like the moon,
with a crown of fire and gold
You will be loved,
this I know to be true
my sweet little baby girl
They'll travel so far
to revere and admire
the Princess of fire and gold.
For you will be loved,
you will rouse and inspire
my beautiful, flame headed girl
I'll watch you grow strong,
see the lion you'll become
with a mane of fire and gold.
Oh you will be loved,
and I'll be so proud,
my beautiful, flame headed girl
And when the night comes,
you will rise like a sun,
my daughter of fire and gold,
And you will be loved
as you shine from above
my beautiful, flame headed girl.
So sleep my love, sleep
I'll be here as you dream,
kiss your hair of fire and gold,
Oh you are so loved,
you're the heart of me,
my beautiful, sweet baby girl.
pale skin like the moon,
with a crown of fire and gold
You will be loved,
this I know to be true
my sweet little baby girl
They'll travel so far
to revere and admire
the Princess of fire and gold.
For you will be loved,
you will rouse and inspire
my beautiful, flame headed girl
I'll watch you grow strong,
see the lion you'll become
with a mane of fire and gold.
Oh you will be loved,
and I'll be so proud,
my beautiful, flame headed girl
And when the night comes,
you will rise like a sun,
my daughter of fire and gold,
And you will be loved
as you shine from above
my beautiful, flame headed girl.
So sleep my love, sleep
I'll be here as you dream,
kiss your hair of fire and gold,
Oh you are so loved,
you're the heart of me,
my beautiful, sweet baby girl.

"The Woman of Balnain" from Karliene
I am a woman of Balnain,
The folk have stolen me over again,
the stones seemed to say
I stood upon the hill, and wind did rise,
and the sound of thunder rolled across the land,
I placed my hands upon the tallest Stone
and travelled to far, distant land,
where I lived for a time among strangers
who became lovers and friends
But one day, I saw the moon came out
and the wind rose once more,
so I touched the stones
and travelled back to my own land
and took up again with the man I had left behind.
The folk have stolen me over again,
the stones seemed to say
I stood upon the hill, and wind did rise,
and the sound of thunder rolled across the land,
I placed my hands upon the tallest Stone
and travelled to far, distant land,
where I lived for a time among strangers
who became lovers and friends
But one day, I saw the moon came out
and the wind rose once more,
so I touched the stones
and travelled back to my own land
and took up again with the man I had left behind.
"Last of the Bards" from Karliene
I was born in the heather
in my sweet Northern Land
with a song in my ears
and a lute in my hand
and I've travelled the plains
collecting the sounds
and the stories of of friends
that I sing about now
And they call me the last of the Bards
when I open my lungs
and I spill out my heart
They call me the last of the Bards
when I sing my old fashioned songs
And I tried not to cry
when I left my sweet home
where the old pipes were playing
my favourite song
And I still hear it now
on the cold Northern wind
and I sing it aloud
for the people I miss
And the call the last of the Bards
when I open my lungs
and I spill out my heart
They call me the last of the Bards
when I sing my old fashioned songs
I was born in the heather
in my sweet Northern Land

The Skye Boat Song
Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Mull was astern, rum on the port,
Eigg, on the starboard bow;
Glory of youth glowed in his soul;
Where is that glory now?
Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Give me again all
that was there,
Give me the sun
that shone!
Give me the eyes,
give me the soul,
give the lass
that's gone!
Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Billow and breeze, islands and seas
Mountains of rain and sun
All that was good, all that was fair
All that was me, is gone
Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Mull was astern, rum on the port,
Eigg, on the starboard bow;
Glory of youth glowed in his soul;
Where is that glory now?
Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye.
Give me again all

Give me the sun

Give me the eyes,

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone

See You Again (Whiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth)
[Charlie Puth:] It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again
(Hey)
[Wiz Khalifa:]
Damn, who knew?
All the planes we flew
Good things we've been through
That I'll be standing right here talking to you
'Bout another path
I know we loved to hit the road and laugh
But something told me that it wouldn't last
Had to switch up
Look at things different, see the bigger picture
Those were the days
Hard work forever pays
Now I see you in a better place (see you in a better place)
Uh
How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got?
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
And now you gon' be with me for the last ride
[Charlie Puth:]
It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again (I see you again)
We've come a long way (yeah, we came a long way) from where we began (you know we started)
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I'll see you again (let me tell you)
When I'll see you again
(Aah oh, aah oh
Wooooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Yeah
[Wiz Khalifa:]
First you both go out your way
And the vibe is feeling strong
And what's small turn to a friendship
A friendship turn to a bond
And that bond will never be broken
The love will never get lost (and the love will never get lost)
And when brotherhood come first
Then the line will never be crossed
Established it on our own
When that line had to be drawn
And that line is what we reach
So remember me when I'm gone (remember me when I'm gone)
How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got?
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
And now you gon' be with me for the last ride
[Charlie Puth:]
So let the light guide your way, yeah
Hold every memory as you go
And every road you take, will always lead you home, home
It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again
(Aah oh)
(Uh)
(Aah oh)
(Yeah)
(Wooooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Ya, ya)

Glory
One day, when the glory comes
It will be ours, it will be ours
Oh, one day, when the war is one
We will be sure, we will be here sure
Oh, glory, glory
Oh, glory, glory
Hands to the Heavens, no man, no weapon
Formed against, yes glory is destined
Every day women and men become legends
Sins that go against our skin become blessings
The movement is a rhythm to us
Freedom is like religion to us
Justice is juxtaposition in us
Justice for all just ain't specific enough
One son died, his spirit is revisitin' us
Truant livin' livin' in us, resistance is us
That's why Rosa sat on the bus
That's why we walk through Ferguson with our hands up
When it go down we woman and man up
They say, "Stay down" and we stand up
Shots, we on the ground, the camera panned up
King pointed to the mountain top and we ran up
One day, when the glory comes
It will be ours, it will be ours
Oh, one day, when the war is one
We will be sure, we will be here sure
Oh, glory, glory
Oh, glory, glory glory

Te amo a ti.
-¡Mátame a mí!
